The station is located at an altitude of 1180-1220 m.a.s.l. It is a beech forest (Fagus sylvatica) with some common holly (Ilex aquifolium) and a few pubescent oaks (Quercus pubescens). The UTM grid of 1 km² where the boxes are located is characterised by a high forest cover (90%) with deciduous forests dominating. The average annual rainfall is 1217 mm. It is also worth mentioning the presence of a temporary torrent, as well as a small extension of rocks in a nearby culminal area, where the beech trees are less dense and lower.
