The station is located at an altitude of 1525-1550 m.a.s.l. and on an east-facing slope. It is a mature beech forest (Fagus sylvatica) mixed with fir (Abies alba), although other deciduous trees such as hazel (Corylus avellana), mustard (Sorbus aria) and ash (Fraxinus excelsior) are also present. The dominant shrub is boxwood (Buxus sempervirens). In the surroundings of the station there are quite a few dry stone walls from a nearby old road, as well as large erratic granite blocks and others of small and medium dimensions.
